I’ve been making my way through Dr. Who and I just bawled at Father’s Day–even if it had the usual ridiculous monsters in it, what a fantastic episode. io9 wasn’t lying.
Oh, I haven’t seen that episode, but for some reason—in spite of, or because of, the cheesiness—Doctor Who can just rend the heart on a regular basis like no other SF show.
I have a Doctor Who addiction that must be fed. I started watching because I love Christopher Eccleston and well, it was on Instant Viewing on Netflix, and next thing I know, the husband and I are talking about spending hard earned money subscribing to the current season on Netflix. (The 11th Doctor is awesome despite awful promotional pictures seen early on. Just sayin’.)
